In these day time sessions will have some extended time of waiting together on the Lord, in worship and prayer – and in unity, because we know this brings a commanded blessing from the Lord. Seasoned Christian leaders from different nations will share exciting testimonies of what is happening in their area and there will be a choice of breakout sessions in the afternoons. We anticipate this gathering of young prayer ambassadors will strengthen the children's prayer networks in Western Australia and encourage those others who attend from out of state. To Book Click Here CONVERGE WEEK 24th - 30th OctoberConverge is an exciting 24/7 prayer week held in the heart of Perth during CHOGM. A complete program will be available here soon. It's going to be an amazing time in our City, a rare opportunity as different denominations gather to pray for CHOGM and the nations. Converge week will be held at Wesley Church conveniently located close to Perth Train station. There has been an explosion of prayer in the Marketplace in Perth. Business prayer Leaders will host prayer sessions daily during Converge Week from 7am-9am. CELEBRATION OF THE NATIONS 30th October5pm Sunday 30th October at St George's Cathedral concludes CHOGM with a Celebration of the Nations, with thanksgiving, prayer, praise and scripture, combined with music dance and song from the five regions of the commonwealth.
Celebration of the Nations is a colourful service to mark the end of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. With young nationals of the Commonwealth countries bearing their flags, a harpist and tenor from Malta, drummers from Trinidad, cello, saxophone, dance, and St George’s Cathedral Consort, the elements combine to celebrate both the unity and the diversity of the nations. 6PR’s Graham Mabury preaches.
